COVERIB 850 is a galvanized steel sheet protected on its upper side by a stabilized plastic asphalt coating (1.5 mm) and a pre-painted aluminum sheet (60 microns). On its underside, the steel is protected by a bituminous primer and a pre-painted aluminum sheet. Tests certify that the sheets provide thermal comfort under natural ventilation conditions and can insulate heat similarly to a 40mm polyurethane panel in cream color. Fire reaction: Class B – s1, d0 (EN 13823; EN ISO 11925-2).
The trapezoidal profile Coverib 850 roofs with multi-layer protection consist of galvanized steel sheets (EN 10174) with a thickness of 0.50 mm (or 0.60 – 0.80 mm), protected on the upper side by a stabilized plastic asphalt coating and a natural or pre-painted aluminum sheet, or an electrolytic copper sheet, and on the underside by a bituminous primer and a natural or pre-painted aluminum sheet.
